Cancellation policies

Please note that deposits are 40% of the trip price and are not refundable. Full payment should be received 60 days before departure.

All cancellations or changes must be received in writing by email to david@davidrogers.co.za. If you cancel from the event you will be subject to the cancellation policy appropriate on that day. If there is another registrant on the waiting list who pays and replaces the cancellation registrant, all monies will be refunded to the cancelling registrant less a US$250 processing fee. Cancellation policies are strictly enforced. No exceptions will be made for medical or business reasons. David Rogers encourages all participants to take out appropriate travel insurance. This may be booked through your travel agent. 

Travel Insurance Policies
David Rogers Photographic strongly recommends that you purchase travel insurance when you register for this event. Cancellation policies and penalties on all events are strictly enforced and there are no exceptions. Travel Insurance in many cases may cover unforeseen or uncontrollable situations that might affect your ability to attend an event. To obtain travel insurance, please contact your travel agent. Please note that David Rogers does not endorse any travel insurance policies.

Waiver and release of Liability

In consideration of David Rogers Photographic organizing, arranging and permitting me to attend and participate in the above trip, I hereby waive all rights which I may now have or which may accrue in the future against David Rogers Photographic, and its respective members and I hereby release and discharge David Rogers Photographic members and agree to indemnify and hold David Rogers Photographic harmless from and against all liability for any and all actions, damages, causes of action, suits, costs, losses, expenses, claims, demands, damages and judgements (collectively the "losses and claims" which I my spouse, family members, children, invitees, heirs, executors, administrators, successors and assignees very had, nor have or hereafter, shall or may have resulting from or arising in connection with my travel to, attendance at or participation in the event and any related activities. This release specifically includes, but is not limited to, claims or losses based on breach of contract, breach of warranty, misrepresentation, negligence, and/or negligent misrepresentation.

Waiver of consumer rights. I, my spouse, and my children waive all of our rights under the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices -- Consumer Protection Act, Section 17.41 et seq., Business & Commerce Code, a law that gives consumers special rights and protections. After consultation with an attorney of my own selection, my spouses, my children and I voluntarily consent to this waiver. This waiver also applies to any other laws that are designed to give consumers special rights and protections.

I acknowledge that certain legal rights against David Rogers Photography and its representatives may be available to me now or in the future as a result of any losses and Claims, and that by executing this waiver and release of liability, my spouse and I, and my children are forever relinquishing those rights against David Rogers Photographic representatives. I acknowledge that no promises, representations, or affirmations of fact were made to me by David Rogers Photographic or the representatives of David Rogers Photographic concerting the safety or danger associated with traveling to this event or or participating in any activity, academy, event or outing related to, associated with or connected in any way to the Event and affirm that I have read and understood the foregoing provisions of this waiver and release of liability and accept the terms of this waiver and release of liability as a condition of my attendance at the Event.

I have read the Cancellation policies and Travel Insurance as stated above and accept the terms of the Cancellation Policies and Travel Insurance above for myself, my spouse and any minor children (under the age of 18 years old).

I have noted that this trip will only run this is sufficient support to cover the costs of David Rogers joining the tour. If there is insufficient demand the tour may be cancelled and all funds will be refunded. Clients should not book international flights until the departure is confirmed by David Rogers.

David Rogers Photographic and its members cannot be held responsible should airlines discontinue flights or change scheduled times resulting in missed connections etc. Rates quoted are subject to change without prior warning if there are any increases in bed levies, park fees, fuel, sales tax or VAT, third-party services or any other circumstances beyond our control.
