10 – 16 April 2012

I have two people interested in taking this trip and need two more to make it viable for a private photographic guide and also a private vehicle. It takes advantage of low-season rates for a 6 night fly in safari to two of the Okavango Delta’s finest camps and there is the option of running it back to back with my 16 – 21 April Lower Zambezi Workshop. Final details will be forthcoming but you can expect excellent value for money and prime viewing. The trip will be led by a private guide who is a specialist photographic guide who has worked extensively with David Rogers. David Rogers availability is uncertain at this time but may become available.

Botswana is regarded as the prime photographic destination in Africa and for good reason. The game, birds and landscapes are staggeringly rich and spectacular. It also has retained a wilderness atmosphere lost in many of the other prime game viewing areas of the world. We stay at the Kwando Camps which are all in private concessions so we can enjoy night drives, off-road driving, walks and will also have vast wilderness areas to enjoy. The company also offers outstanding guiding. The summer, or emerald season, offers outstanding light, green landscapes, flowers and abundant game. While you do need to search a bit harder for game in the thicker vegetation this is by far my best time for photography.
