Liuwa Plains Photographic Safari
19 – 25 May 2014 | 6 nights (one night Lusaka | 5 nights Liuwa)
Liuwa Plains is a landscape as flat as you can imagine that is inundated with water for most of the year and at its very best in May and November. Robin Pope Safaris have one final concession in this area before it is opened up to other operators. So in many ways this is a last chance to see this area in its present form. I am also delighted that the set departure for May 2014 will be led by David Rogers and Jason Alfonse. Join this trip as places will go fast.
Guests will arrive in Lusaka on 19 May and overnight at the Radisson Blue. At 07h00 0n 20 May we fly to Liuwa by private charter where we are met by Robin and other members of the RPS team. For the next five nights we stay at the simple tented camp in the park and enjoy some of the most startling game viewing and surroundings you are ever likely to experience. On 25 May we return to Lusaka in time for international flights departing after 15h30. It is also timeous to connect to Lower Zambezi, South Luangwa or Livingstone, which all work as excellent extensions to this trip.
The Cost of the trip is $5379 – there is no single supplement. We will be restricted to a maximum of six guests. This cost includes accommodation in Liuwa and Lusaka, a 1,5 hour charter flight from Lusaka to Kalabo, guiding by David Rogers and Robin Pope and all meals, park fees, drinks and activities which in Lusaka
