Tips from David for photography
“We have found that the more the client involves themselves with the shoot, the better the results.”
“We know we are successful when clients say .. now we can increase our room prices.”
“Images key in to people’s emotions”
“Have some props handy to make the shots feel less sterile”
“Is great to use people in the distance, but they should never dominate the picture?”
“You can get 70% of the shots in 30% of the time if you work cleverly.”
“I will often work on two or three shots at the same time waiting for the right light”
“If you want to feature activities, then we have to have models, vehicles and choreograph the images. It’s a bad idea to use paying clients as models.”
“I always like to feature the lodge environment in the pictures. After all its often the game, the mountains, the scenery that draws guests to these places.
